We’ve got final links in place for the new Microsoft Kinect, and the two console bundles that come with the Kinect: the 4Gb console and the 250Gb console.
We are tracking stock availability across a large number of online stores, with stock details and prices being updated regularly. On release day, we will change the scheduling to update as frequently as possible to ensure you have the best chance of securing one of these Kinect products!

Compare Christmas Toys 2009
As the last Halloween goodies get eaten and the vampire outfits hung up for another year, everyone starts to think about Christmas. We’ve started to add the toys that are expected to be the top sellers in the UK this Christmas. And as with every Christmas, the top toys are the ones that the kids want, and the ones that sell out quickly! We’ll be adding all of the toys in batches over the coming days and weeks, but the first batch are already up for your comparison, and to make sure you can get hold of them! Black Wii Coming Soon
We’re starting to scan the web for stock details for the incoming Black Nintendo Wii. None of the usual suspects have stock or price details yet, but keep an eye on Product Locator for the best chance of finding out who, when and how much!
New Nintendo DSi colours now tracked
We knew they were coming, and now some stores have started to list the details online for us, so prepares for the DSi Red, DSi Metallic Blue (or is it DSi Dark Blue?) and the DSi Light Blue. It’s out on 23rd October, but only a few stores are listing it at the moment. We’ve a feeling that at least one of these colours will be rarer than rocking horse poop once the Christmas shopping season kicks into gear, so best get your pre-orders in now!
New items: PlayStation 3 (250GB) & Xbox 360 Forza 3 Super Bundle
We knew they were coming, but we weren’t sure when. But now they have started to appear on the online store. We have for you the PlayStation 3 Slim with 250GB hard-drive and the Xbox 360 Forza Motorsport 3 Super Elite Console.
Both are pre-order only at the moment, and we will be adding more stores as andf when they start appearing and we have checked them out.
When is a bundle not a bundle?
We made a decision here at Product Locator Towers to differentiate between regular, run-of-the-mill console bundles, and those special edition bundles that Microsoft and Sony are so enamoured with. These new special editions, such as the Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Super Elite Console, the Xbox 360 Forza Motorsport 3 Super Elite Bundle and the expected (but not officially announced) Playstation 3 Slim Uncharted 2 bundle and the Playstation 3 Slim FIFA 2010 bundle all offer something over and above the regular console with a game or two included.
In the case of these bundles, aimed at the Christmas season, they all come with a console, and a game, like any other bundle, but they also come with additional extras that are not available elsewhere. All four of these bundles come with new 250GB hard drives that both Microsoft and Sony have made for their consoles – but these won’t be available anywhere else. Also, you will get some snazzy case art for at least some of these bundles which stand them apart from other bundles.
Finally, we simply want people to be able to find them! If they are simply tagged onto the end of what are (and will continue to be) fairly large lists of bundles, then our visitors (you!) will miss them, and potentially miss out on a deal.
